Prin acest studiu am încercat să evaluăm eficienţa screeningului CCR cu ajutorul testului de depistare a hemoragiilor oculte din scaun în România. Material şi metodă.
Am utilizat testul Hemoccult II pentru depistarea hemoragiilor oculte din scaun. Aceasta a făcut parte dintr-un program naţional de prevenire a CCR, astfel încât testul Hemoccult a fost administrat gratuit şi, în acelaşi timp, respectivul program a fost anunţat în mass media locală. Subiecţilor cu rezultat pozitiv li s-a recomandat efectuarea colonoscopiei ca şi test diagnostic.

De asemenea, am utilizat un grup de subiecţi care, deşi au avut rezultat negativ la administrarea testului Hemoccult, au fost investigaţi şi colonoscopic. Am luat în studiu de subiecţi asimptomatici cărora li s-a administrat testul Hemoccult.
Rezultatele noastre arată că în România este necesară implementarea unui program de screening a CCR. Cu toate acestea, complianţa populaţiei la acest tip de program este încă redusă.
